MECHANICVILLE FEBRUARY 17- A public hearing was scheduled for this date to discuss amendments in to City Code relating to the Mayor's secretary. Under the proposal the secretary or secretaries would will receive a salary determined by the Mayor and would serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.

MECHANICVILLE JANUARY 20- Mechanicville Mayor Dennis Baker announced that Mechanicville has received $4 million in grants and loans for work on the reservoir. These monies come from the New York State Department of Health. The grant is for $2 million.

At the council meeting Seber announced that this bridge project will begin in the Spring of 2016. That job will go out for bids in October/November. There is a county bridge project on Rt. 67 near DiSiena furniture. Three bridge projects in one summer seems to be enough.
MECHANICVILLE DECEMBER 3 - Commissioner Higgins stated at the city council meeting that the bridge is about 1 week behind due to the weather. Saratoga County Department of Public Works informed him that because of recent temperatures under 45 degrees the concrete could not cure.

MECHANICVILLE SEPTEMBER 17- At the City Council Meeting City Clerk Mark Seber announced that 5 properties in the City still have unpaid taxes. On October 9th at the Senior Citizens Center an auction will commence to dispose of any or all of those properties whose taxes are still unpaid.

MECHANICVILLE SEPTEMBER 3- The City Council announced and approved the sale of the Industrial Park to Universal Realty & Development Corp. The 17.6 acres was sold for $44,092, a rate of $2500 per acre.
