STILLWATER  FEBRUARY 27– Mayor Rick Nelson, members of the village and town board, and local officials gathered together on February 28 for a ceremonial ribbon cutting to welcome Elite Training to the community. Located at 751 Hudson Avenue, Elite Training is a new fitness center focusing on overall strength and conditioning.  However, as owner Juan Garzon explained, his goal is to make it more than just a place to lift weights.

The Engineers will face host Scranton (Pa.) on Friday at a time yet to be determined. Friday will also see Marymount (Va.) and Cabrini square off in the other game of the doubleheader. Both winners will face each otheron Saturday.

Games times and ticket prices will be announced later Monday or early Tuesday.

New Superintendent for Stillwater Schools – by Vince Gallagher

STILLWATER – The Stillwater Central School District Board of Education is pleased has announced its intent to appoint Patricia Morris as superintendent of schools at the February 23 board meeting. Morris is currently the middle school principal at Stillwater Central School District, a position she has held since 2008. The decision was made on February 12.
