Here in our small town world in the cold and snowy northeast, Christmas is a season of evergreen trees, decorations, bright lights, frenzied shopping, great food, family love and togetherness . . . and music.
Ah, music. Some of the most beautiful music ever written has been written to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ more than 20 centuries ago. If you are looking for a way to make this Christmas more special, for a chance to hear beautiful music in live performance close to home so you don’t have to navigate crowded interstates to hear it, you might consider coming to the United Methodist Church here in downtown Mechanicville on Sunday afternoon, December 21.
