DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home Named Business of the Year
Tom Salvadore related how he began by working part time in the early 70’s at funeral homes in the area. On October 30, 1976, the day Police Officer Paul Luther was killed,Dwight Dunn asked Tom if he would be interested in going to college. Dunn suggested that Tom pursue the GI Bill. Which he did and earned his Associates Degree in Mortuary Science while working full time as a Police Officer in Mechanicville.

Juan Guzman Opens Stillwater’s Newest Business – by V. Gallagher
STILLWATER FEBRUARY 27– Mayor Rick Nelson, members of the village and town board, and local officials gathered together on February 28 for a ceremonial ribbon cutting to welcome Elite Training to the community. Located at 751 Hudson Avenue, Elite Training is a new fitness center focusing on overall strength and conditioning. However, as owner Juan Garzon explained, his goal is to make it more than just a place to lift weights.
