Local SUNY Potsdam Student-Athletes named to Fall SUNYAC All-Academic Team
POTSDAM, NY (02/12/2016)-- The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named 53 SUNY Potsdam student-athletes to its All-Academic Team for the Fall 2015 semester, the conference announced Wednesday, Feb. 10. Players named to the all-academic team have a minimum 3.3 GPA for the semester. Here is a list of the local athletes that compete for the Potsdam Bears.
Sarah Erno of Mechanicville (12118) is a Freshman member of the SUNY Potsdam Women's Soccer team.
Madison Mahar of Mechanicville (12118) is a Sophomore member of the SUNY Potsdam Women's Soccer team.

POTSDAM, NY (02/12/2016)-- Madison Mahar, a resident of Mechanicville, N.Y. was one of 28 SUNY Potsdam student-athletes to earn a spot on the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Commissioner's List for the Fall 2015 semester, the conference announced Wednesday, Feb. 10.
Mahar is a Sophomore member of the SUNY Potsdam Women's Soccer team. Players named to this list have carried a minimum 3.3 grade-point-average over three consecutive semesters at Potsdam.
Local Students from Hudson Valley Community College Named to Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities
TROY, NY (02/16/2016)-- Local college students studying at Hudson Valley Community College were recently honored by acceptance in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.

Reinhardt studies Professional Studies at the University. Local Student Elected to Phi Beta Kappa at Hamilton College

Beamish, daughter of James and Teresa Beamish of Melrose, was recently elected to the Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at Hamilton College.Phi Beta Kappa, which established a chapter at Hamilton in 1870, is the oldest and most prestigious honor society in the country.
