SARATOGA SPRINGS - Kathleen E. DeVito, 71, of Boynton Beach, Florida and Saratoga Springs, NY entered into heaven on January 6, 2015 peacefully and unexpectedly with her husband and brother by her side.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at Noon at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 No Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 with burial to follow at the Saratoga National Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Saratoga Hospital Foundation, 211 Church Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in loving memory of Kathleen “Kass” DeVito. Mrs. Ida Nutting Elting – 83
STILLWATER – Mrs. Ida Nutting Elting, 83, of Meehan Road, died Friday, January 2nd, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Troy after a brief illness.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, Jan 10th from 2-3 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main ST., Mechanicville. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Community Hospice, in memory of Ida M. Elting.

Carol Olsen Lavazzo - 68
MECHANICVILLE – Carol Olsen Lavazzo, 68, of Broadway, died suddenly at home, Saturday morning, Dec. 27th, after being stricken. Carol had battled breast cancer and respiratory issues for some time.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Jan 2nd at 1 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Entombment in Saratoga National Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday from 11:30 AM to 1 PM.Remembrances may be made to the Mechanicville Fire Dept., for their faithful fire and ambulance services over the years.
