Adirondack – Save-A-Stray Pets for Adoption
Allison & Esmeralda - DOB 5-28-14. Weight 11 lbs, dachshund/beagle. These two babies are about a year old and were rescued from a hoarding situation and went into one of our fosters. They are safe now , are very social and love attention. They do not have to go together and we would love to find them a forever home, as they deserve the very best. They have age appropriate shots, have been vet check and are ready to go. Marie - Lab mix - Meet Marie. She is a 4 month old Lab Pyrenees mix. She has bee microchipped, has all her shots and spayed. She is 90% house trained and walks well on a leash. She love other animals and kids and would make an outstanding addition to any family. She has been in foster for 2 months and is now ready to go into a furever home. Cassie - Cassie came to us from a local kill shelter. She is beautiful and sweet. She is a little over a year old, spayed, up to date on vaccine and vet checked. Adirondack-Save-A-Stray Pets of the Week
Maddy - Maddy is a female lab mix who is probably 4 - 5 months old. She was dropped off on a country dirt road 4 weeks ago. Luckily it was right near one of our rescue fosters. So she was able to get into safety She gets along great with other dogs and children. She has been dewormed and given first puppy vaccinations. Maddy has a sweet easygoing personality. She weighs about 25 lbs and will probably be around 40 lbs when grown. She will make a good family pet.
Benelli - This little guy ended up on death row of a high kill shelter. He was very depressed at being in the shelter until one of our rescue coordinators saw him and got him out. He is a little lover. He is a bulldog mix and about 14lbs at 12 weeks. He has been vetted and given his first shots and wormed. His foster mom says he is a sweetie and gets along with other dogs. He will make an excellent companion for some lucky family. Last of the Piggly Wiggly pups - These two are the last of the litter that were found at the Piggly Wiggly store down south. They were still at the spay/neuter clinic and are now coming up to find their forever homes. They are both beautiful and wonderful pups. They are about 14-16 weeks old, have been vet checked, up to date on shots and wormed. Scooter-Scooter is a sweet young man that would love to have a family to call his own. He is a 2 year old Shih Tzu mix, UTD on shots and de-wormed. Mckayla- This baby is 4 months old and weighs 22 lbs, bulldog mix. She was dropped off at a kill shelter and the staff thought she was way too sweet to let her be put to sleep so they called rescue. Felix is a beautiful tuxedo boy that just loves to have his belly rubbed. He is super sweet and friendly. Felix likes to sit near you on the couch and enjoys being pet. He gets along just fine with other cats and would fit in with almost any family. Check out his gorgeous eyes.
Felix is a young adult male, ~ 1-2 years old, he is neutered, up to date on his shots and negative for FIV and FeLV.

Halle is a 4 year old female Shepherd mix. Halle is a great family dog. She loves nothing more than to be with her people. She will greet you with wags and doggy kisses, and if you want to play fetch she's your girl. Halle is exceptional with children. She is very tolerant of little ones who haven't quite learned to be gentle, and revels in running and jumping with older ones in the yard. Halle also does very well with small dogs and can be very gentle when she plays, however, she can sometimes be a bit scared of dogs her own size and needs to be properly introduced before she's ready to play. Halle is spayed, up to date, and has impeccable house manners. She doesn't even counter surf!
