MECHANICVILLE - Mrs. Charlotte Bullis Pickett, of West Palm Beach, Florida, and long time resident of Mechanicville, died Wednesday, June 8th in Florida, after an extended illness.
A gathering of family and friends is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, June 26th from Noon to 2 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, Mechanicville, NY.

MECHANICVILLE – Brinley Rose Galerie, newborn daughter of Francis Philip Galerie and Brittany Amber Austin of Mechanicville, whose delivery into this world, Thursday, June 2nd at Albany Medical Center, was hastened when her parents were struck head on during a motor vehicle accident on Route 146 in Halfmoon, Thursday evening, died Friday morning after fighting for her life for 9 hours and 51 minutes. Brinley is one of Heaven’s angels now, a perfect little star.
A Funeral Service will be held on 4 PM Thursday at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 PM. Burial in Dunning Street Cemetery, Malta.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Neo-Natal Unit of Albany Medical Center Hospital, 43 New Scotland Ave, Albany, 12208, in memory of Brinley Rose Galerie and her family.

Stillwater Police arrested Cory D. Romriell (age 48) of Broadalbin and charged him with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration (misdemeanor) following a vehicle stop on Route 75. He was processed and released to appear in Stillwater Town Court. The arrest was handled by Ptl. Clayton Brownell.

Stillwater Police arrested Marquanne S. Green (age 17) of Albany and charged him with Assault 3rrd degree (misdemeanor), Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (misdemeanor) and Menacing (misdemeanor) following an incident in which he assaulted a person and threatened a neighbor. He was arraigned in Stillwater Town Court and released pending prosecution. He was issued an order of protection barring all contact with the victims. The investigation and arrest was handled by 1st Sgt. Ray Cordani and Ptl. Tom Sawyer.

Stillwater Police arrested Freeasia R. Riggsbee (age 17) of Troy and charged her with Assault 3rd degree (misdemeanor) and Criminal Mischief 4th degree (misdemeanor) following an incident in which she caused injuries to a person and vandalized a vehicle. She was arraigned in Stillwater Town Court abd released pending prosecution. She was issued an order of protection barring all contact with the victim. The investigation and arrest was handled by 1st Sgt. Ray Cordani and Ptl. Tom Sawyer.

Stillwater Police arrested Linda J. Topka (age 61) of Waterford and charged her with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree (misdemeanor) following a vehicle stop on Route 67. She was processed and released to appear in Stillwater Town Court. The arrest was handled by Ptl. Alex Dunn.

Stillwater Police have referred 2 juveniles, one age 12 and other age 13, to Saratoga County Probation following an incident of vandalism on Town of Stillwater property, in which sections of fence railings and post were damaged along the bike/walking path south of Halfway House Road. The investigation was handled by 1st Sgt. Ray Cordani and Ptl. Paul Pecor.
Local Businesses Donate to the Community Center and Police Department
MECHANICVLLE JUNE 1- The Mechanicville Area Community Services Center desparately needed a new van when their old van broke down. Anonymous donors and Mike Raucci, General Manger of Toyota of Clifton Park stepped up.They provided the funding to donate a mini-van to the MACSC.
