Local Businesses Donate to the Community Center and Police Department

MECHANICVLLE JUNE 1- The Mechanicville Area Community Services Center desparately needed a new van when their old van broke down. Anonymous donors and Mike Raucci, General Manger of Toyota of Clifton Park stepped up.They provided the funding to donate a mini-van to the MACSC.

HALFMOON - On Thursday morning April 21st members of the Fireman’s Association of the State of New York, along with local fire officers, firefighters from Halfmoon – Waterford Fire District #1, Waterford, and Vischer Ferry and Assemblyman James Tedisco gathered at the Halfmoon – Waterford Fire Department on Middletown Rd in Waterford to kick off the 6th annual Recruit NY campaign.

Saratoga County Board Updates – By H. Wessell

BALLSTON SPA. November - The following agenda items anticipating passage at the County Board of Supervisors November business, November 18, include a new substation of the Sheriff's Department.   - Authorizing a lease of space negotiated by the Town of Wilton and the Wilton Mall, for a 920-square foot Sheriff's Department substation, for five years with an option of renewal for five. (He quipped, "The rent, good job Sheriff, is a dollar a year, so we're happy with that.")

Stillwater Appoints New Police Sergeant – by H. Wessell

 

TOWN OF STILLWATER, August 21 - The Town of Stillwater Police Department, for the first time in several years, has two sergeants.

   In a swearing-in ceremony at Town Hall,  Officer Charles T. Rockwell Jr. Of the Department  was made Sergeant, in particular because of the recent appointment of Sergeant Raymond Cordani as Police Commissioner.
