Two Clarkson University teams, Apartment Food Waste and Students and Community Outreach on Renter Efficiency (SCORE), received awards at the New York State Pollution Prevention Institute's (NYSP2I) third-annual R&D student competition, held at Rochester Institute of Technology and sponsored by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

Dixon participated in the SCORE team, which received third place in the undergraduate category.
