UAlbany Names Living-Learning Community World Representatives

ALBANY, NY (02/01/2018)-- World Representatives are students who were selected in fall 2017 to serve as peer leaders in the University at Albany's Living-Learning Communities (L-LCs). These students were identified and nominated by their L-LC faculty mentors and upperclassmen for having demonstrated leadership within their communities.

World Representatives serve on an advisory board to Student Engagement throughout the academic year, communicate feedback from their peers to Student Engagement to improve the L-LCs, and help plan and facilitate social activities for L-LC students. Student Engagement, housed in the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, selected 47 freshman World Ambassadors for the 2017-2018 year.

More than 5,500 University of Rhode Island students named to the Dean's List

KINGSTON, RI (01/17/2018)-- The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 5,500 undergraduates have qualified for the fall 2017 Dean's List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and nations.

To be included on the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average. Mattison Drinkwater makes the Dean's List at Coastal Carolina University

CONWAY, SC (01/17/2018)-- Mattison Drinkwater, of Mechanicville, NY, majoring in special education, was among 2,419 students at Coastal Carolina University who made the Fall Semester 2017 Dean's List.

To qualify for the Dean's List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.
