H.O.P.E Pets for Adoption
Hi my name is Scooby. I'm a 2-1/2 year old, purebred Golden Retriever. I'm neutered (ouch!), up to date on vaccines, tested negative for heartworm and lyme and microchipped. I was surrendered from my previous home because I didn't like the other dogs going near my food dish and bones. I need to go to a home where I am the ONLY dog, please! In my former home I lived with cats and kids and my foster family has cats and kids too (the kids are all over 10 and I really LOVE them). I'm OK with the kitties, but they need to stay out of my food bowl and away from my bones (but, if you have kitties for me to live with, I'd be OK with giving up bones).
I LOVE people - I LOVE attention - I LOVE to play! I'm a great dog!
Scooby is neutered, up to date on his shots, and microchipped.

Scout is an ~ 4 year old Golden Retriever who is a a really nice dog. Scout who needs a special family - please read all about him!
Scout is a lone wolf - he needs to be the only four-legged child in the home (no cats or other dogs). If you have kids (the two-legged variety), he's great with them. His foster mom says he's great with her kids (all age 10 and over). A fenced yard is a must - Scout can't be out loose as he doesn't like other dogs. So if you have little ones who may let him out, he's probably not the dog for you. Please read on.........
Now that we've gotten that out of the way, please don't give up on him! Scout is a really a loving dog - LOVES people and LOVES playing football - and will toss the ball back and forth to you. Swimming? YAY! Playing drop the football in the pool and swimming combined is the best! Scout will be a super companion in the right home!
Scout is neutered, up to date on his shots, and microchipped.

Hi I'm Bernie and I'm 15 weeks old! I'm a lap kitty - I just love being on and near my foster people....do you need a sweet little soft fur ball curled up on your knee? - then pick me!! I love to snuggle and I especially like to get my belly rubbed. I love the company of people - while never underfoot I always like to be close no matter what you are up to - cooking in the kitchen, watching TV, brushing teeth....I'll be hanging about just to be near you. When its dinner time I come running for my kibbles - can't miss a meal, and with all my playing got to keep the energy up!
Bernie is neutered, up to date on his shots and negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia.

Biscuit is a mellow and easy going young man (he was 12 weeks old on Oct. 1) that loves affection. Biscuit was born outdoors in a barn but his mom and litter-mates were brought indoors for a better life and he has thrived. He is a real sweet character that enjoys people. Biscuit enjoys playing fetch with his red fluffy ball and is extremely entertaining. Biscuit is currently being fostered in a home with children, dogs and other cats....even a guinea pig...and gets along great with everyone.
Biscuit is neutered, up to date on his shots and negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia.

Vinny is a neutered male Shepherd mix. Vinny is a gentle old soul who just wants to hang out with you. He's good with older children and dogs, house-trained and likes to go for walks. Vinny would be best in a home with another dog he can be friends with.

Crowley is an absolutely gorgeous green eyed 1-year-old boy that was rescued as a kitten from a woodpile and a life of fending for himself outdoors. Crowley is very affectionate and loves attention but has not been adopted yet because he is a "scaredy-cat" ...waiting for a family patient enough to give him the time he needs to trust. He's great with his foster family and with many others that have taken the time to get to know him. Once Crowley gets to know you he's a really amazing guy that will be so grateful to have a forever home. Crowley is great with other cats and dogs. Are you willing to give this regal boy a chance?
Crowley is neutered, up to date on his shots and negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia.
Benson is all black except for a little tuxedo white splash on his chest. As of June 6, he was 10-weeks old. Benson is energetic, friendly and playful.

Who Was Mrs. Cats? – by S. McBride
On a cold December night in 1906, when the Champlain Canal still bisected the village of Mechanicville, a 61-year-old woman living alone in a second-floor apartment on Canal Street heard a cry for help. Going out onto her porch overhanging the not-yet-frozen waterway, she saw a man floundering in the stagnant water. She leaped over the railing into the canal below and swam to the man’s side. Her cries for help, along with his, did bring help and the man’s life was saved.
