Town of Halfmoon Held September 11^th Ceremony

HALFMOON- On Friday evening September 11^th the Town of Halfmoon held its annual Patriot Day Ceremony at Abele Memorial Park on Harris Road in remembrance of the terrible events that took place on September 11^th 2001 in New York City, Washington DC and Pennsylvania.

The solemn ceremony started with a parade of the Sherriff’s Department, Hillcrest Fire Department, West Crescent Fire Department, Clifton Park Fire Department, Halfmoon-Waterford Fire Department and Emergency Services personal. The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts lowered the flag and prayers and reflections were read of the events of September 11^th 2001.
