Town of Halfmoon Held September 11th Ceremony
HALFMOON- On Friday evening September 11th the Town of Halfmoon held its annual Patriot Day Ceremony at Abele Memorial Park on Harris Road in remembrance of the terrible events that took place on September 11th 2001 in New York City, Washington DC and Pennsylvania.
The solemn ceremony started with a parade of the Sherriff’s Department, Hillcrest Fire Department, West Crescent Fire Department, Clifton Park Fire Department, Halfmoon-Waterford Fire Department and Emergency Services personal. The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts lowered the flag and prayers and reflections were read of the events of September 11th 2001.
