Stillwater Senior Time Resuming
STILLWATER - On Friday, September 25, Stillwater Senior Time will resume at The Stillwater Area Community Center from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM. We will be celebrating Fall. Please join us for a fun-filled afternoon of activities that will include BINGO, a light lunch (please bring a sandwich) a side will also be served along with wonderful desserts. MECHANCIVILLE – David H. Wright II, 72, of Pawling Ave., died Sunday August 30th, at Saratoga Hospital, after a short illness.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12th from Noon till 4 PM at his daughters home, 35 Pawling Ave., Mechanicville. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to an Animal Shelter of choice.

Annie Burrelo Muzio – 89
MECHANICVILLE – Annie Burrello Muzio, 89 former resident of Saratoga Ave., died Monday Sept. 7th at Saratoga Center Nursing Home, after an extended illness.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 AM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Stillwater. Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society in loving memory of Annie Burrello Muzio.

MECHANICVILLE SEPTEMBER 4- Marc DeBates rushed for 104 yards and scored 4 touchdowns and Jacob Henes caught 2 passes both for TD's. Quarterback Giovanni D'Ambro intercepted two passes besides throwing his 2 touchdowns to Henes. the 40 yard reception by Henes in the 2nd quarter broke the game open by giving Mechanicville a 21-0 lead. Henes kicked the extra points for the Raiders.
Mechanicville School Building Proposal
MECHANICVILLE SEPTEMBER 3- In a joint meeting of the School Board and the public , Building Committee chairman John Taglione outlined the steps his group has taken. The committee was formed about a year ago. The committee members wanted input from the community and have sought the advice of: school teachers, custodians, PTA, booster clubs, the Chamber of Commerce and other groups. Taglione wanted a transparent process.
Changes in Mechanicville Water Supply
MECHANICVILLE SEPTEMBER 2- The New York State Department of Health has expressed concern about teethe ability of The City of Mechanicville to deliver water at sustained peak levels-1.2 million gallons/day. On April 30,2015 the City responded. The City uses about 800,000 gallons per day on "average." There is nothing final but the Barton and Lagoudice engineering firm employed by Mechanicville has come up with a plan. Under this plan the City would retain its reservoir.

Waterford Police Have Body Cameras – by H. Wessell
TOWN OF WATERFORD, September 1 – Town Supervisor John E. Lawler announced at the monthly Town Board business session that Waterford will have its new Cohoes bridge in pretty prompt order.
The Supervisor reported that the Town has received official notification from the state Department of Transportation that the replacement of the Cohoes-Waterford bridge, much talked about last year and during part of this year including a public meeting he thought “very well conducted” and “extremely well attended, with over 100 people,” is now getting ready to proceed.
