A Sports Legacy to Remember – by Sandy McBride

Time fades paint. It also fades memories. Mechanicville  has a proud history in sports, going way back before my time.    At the long-awaited ribbon cutting at the preserve, located off Rte. 67 just west of the Malta-Stillwater line, Malta Supervisor Paul Sausville, welcoming participants, lauded Larry Sweeney, the landowner who made it all possible by partnering with the Town of Malta and the private land preservation agency, Saratoga P.L.A.N.
