Mrs. Betty E. Hanehan – 86

STILLWATER – Mrs. Betty E. Hanehan, 86 of Hudson Ave., died Wed evening, Nov. 15th, at home, after an extended illness.

She was also predeceased by her brothers Richard and Robert Brown.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 3 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville, with burial to follow in Stillwater United Cemetery.  Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 1-3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to either Peter Brown Scholarship of Stillwater Central School, or Community Hospice in memory of Betty E. Hanehan.

Ret. Master Sgt. John V. “Jack” D’Ambro, Jr. 78

STILLWATER – Ret. Master Sgt. John V. “Jack” D’Ambro, Jr., 78 , died at his home, Tuesday, Nov. 7th, after an extended illness, in the loving company of his family.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 9 AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 North Main St., Mechanicville.  Burial with military honors to follow at 11 AM at Saratoga National Cemetery.

Calling hours at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Sunday from 3-6 PM.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the VA Medical Ctr’s Patients Activity Fund, 113 Holland AveAlbany, 12208.

James “Riley” DeVoe – 84

STILLWATER - James “Riley” DeVoe, 84, of Hudson Avenue died Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at Ellis Hospital, after a short illness. A native of Schuylerville and lifelong resident of Stillwater, he was born May 31st, 1933, son of the late Riley and Asenath DeVoe.

There will be no calling hours at the request of the family.  Private family services will be held with the Devito-Salvadore Funeral Home.
