Michael A. Taglione, Sr. 80
STILLWATER – Michael A. Taglione, Sr, 80, of Clinton Court, died Thursday, Nov 30th, at home, in the safe and loving company of his devoted wife.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec 5th at All Saints on the Hudson Church (St. Paul’s) 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial to follow with military honors in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Monday from 4-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, in loving memory of Michael A. Taglione, Sr.

Russ W. Toombs – 66
DELMAR, NY - Russ W. Toombs, 66, died at his home in the company of his family, on Wednesday November 15, 2017 after a years-long struggle with serious multiple health issues. Born in Troy, N.Y. on July 11, 1951, he was the son of the late George and Olive Toombs of Mechanicville, N.Y.
By Russ' explicit instruction, there were no services. His ashes will be spread at a future time at a spot that was very special to both him and his ex-wife. Arrangements by DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, Mechanicville, N.Y.
Mrs. Alice VanWert Farina – 90
STILLWATER – Mrs. Alice VanWert Farina, 90, longtime resident of Railroad Ave, died Wednesday at Samaritan Hospital, after an extended illness.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10 AM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville, with burial in Saratoga National Cemetery.
Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-5 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to either Alzheimer’s Assoc. or Community Hospice in loving memory of Alice M. Farina.
