MECHANICVILLE – Miss Ann F. Cafararo, 71 of Leonard St., died Thursday evening May 19th at St. Peter’s Hospice, Albany after health complications these past months.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at Noon at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 North Main St., Mechanicville.  Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Sunday from 3-6 PM.In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to either St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or a local Community Hospice, in fond memory of Ann F. Sharon Lee Holmes – 68

MECHANICVILLE – Sharon Lee Holmes, 68, of Hudson River Rd., died Tuesday, May 17th at Albany Medical Ctr, after battling with cancer for some years.

Joseph A. Rubino – 75

MECHANICVILLE –  Joseph A. Rubino, 75, of Ensign Ave., died Saturday afternoon, after a brief illness, at St. Mary’s Hospital with his loving family by his side.  Born in Troy, April 7, 1941, he was the son of the late John and Jennie D’Aloia Rubino.

 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 17 at 11:30AM at All Saints on the Hudson SouthChurch, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville.  Inurnment with military honors will follow at the SaratogaNational Cemetery.  A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church from 10 – 11:15AM prior to the Mass on Tuesday.

MECHANICVILLE – Angelo “Flash” DeMicco, 91, died Thursday May 12th at Wesley Health Care,Saratoga Springs.  A native and lifelong resident of Mechanicville, born Jan 29, 1925, son of the late Biaggio and Agnes Anatriello DeMicco.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday evening at 7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So.Main St., Mechanicville.  Calling hours from 5-7 PM.   An entombment service with military honors is scheduled for Tuesday at 10 AM at the Saratoga NationalCemetery.

MECHANICVILLE – Anthony J. “Tony” Fiacco, 84, of No. Sixth Ave., died Tuesday morning at Samaritan Hospital, after a brief illness.

At Tony’s request, family services will be private with no public hours.

Friends are welcome to attend a Burial Service with military honors at Saratoga National Cemetery on Thursday at 1:30 PM.

COHOES - Anna S. Culnane of Cohoes, formerly of Mechanicville, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy, NY. She was 89 years old.

ALBANY --  Donald L. Marotta, 75, of Washington Ave., died April 28 after an extended illness at AlbanyMedical Center.  Born and raised in Amsterdam, August 9 1940, the son of the late Ralph Marotta and Rose Marotta Zullo & stepfather, Robbie Zullo.  Don was a 1958 graduate of Amsterdam High School and later continued his education at Fulton-

SOUTH WINDSOR , CT - Beloved wife of the late Anthony DeCasperis, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 11, 1930 in Troy, NY, daughter of the late Damiano and Maria (Vellucci) Fantauzzi.

Her family received friends on Friday, April 29, 2016,  at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial,  at St. Margaret March Church in South Windsor.

Burial was at Wapping Cemetery in South Windsor.
