Mrs. Elizabeth Satiroff Clothier – 90

STILLWATER – Mrs. Elizabeth Satiroff Clothier, 90, died Thursday, March 17th at Glendale Nursing Ctr, after an extended illness. A Burial service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at the Saratoga NationalCemetery.

There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Stillwater Block House or Newland Wood Fire Dept., in memory of Elizabeth Satiroff Bryan.

Irene Petronis Farruggio – 63

CLIFTON PARK – Irene Petronis Farruggio, 63, died Sunday, March 20th at Albany Medical Ctr. after a long illness. Irene grew up in Riverside section of Mechanicville and later lived in Stillwater with her husband and kids.

A gathering of friends will be held on Wednesday at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville, with burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery,Stillwater.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Irene Petronis Farruggio.

William “Fran” McHale – 50

MECHANICVILLE – William "Fran" McHale, 50, of Elizabeth Street, died Thursdayevening surrounded by his loving family after his battle with lung cancer.  Born in Albany, August 9, 1965, he was the son of Andrea Szell Kachidurian and the late Leo Kachidurian.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday March 22, from 4-7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So Main St, Mechanicville NY 12118. A funeral home service will be held on Wednesday at 10AM with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Glenmont.  In lieu of flowers, Fran’s family kindly suggests that donations be made to the McHale Children Trust.

Bryan D. Warren – 77

JOHNSONVILLE - Bryan D. Warren, 77, of Johnsonville Rd., died Thursday afternoon at St. Peter's Hospice Inn after a long battle with dementia.  Born in Johnsonville, October 16, 1938, he was the son of the late Milton C. and Gladys Downing Warren.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd, from 10:30AM until 12:30PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So Main St., Mechanicville, NY 12118.  A Funeral Service will follow the visitation, beginning at 12:30PM, with burial to follow at the Saratoga National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Johnsonville Volunteer Fire Company, 5 River Road, Johnsonville, NY 12094.

Mrs. Gay Velma Baker

HALFMOON – Mrs. Gay Velma Baker born in Downsville NY Sept. 18, 1947 passed into an eternal sleep March 17, 2016 at Ellis Hospsital with her family by her side.

A celebration of Gay’s life will be held Sunday from 2-4 PM at the Mechanicville-Stillwater Elk’s Lodge located at 300 Park Avenue, Mechanicville.

STILLWATER – John A. “Doc” Rivers, 74, of Hudson Ave., died unexpectedly Sunday, March 13th at Grand Strand Medical Ctr., Myrtle Beach, S.C., after a brief illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at Noon at All Saints on theHudson Church, 895 Hudson Ave., Stillwater.  Burial with military honors at the SaratogaNational Cemetery. Calling hours at the Church on Monday from 4-7 PM.

Miss Lucy C. Mareno – 91

MECHANICVILLE – Miss Lucy C. Mareno, 91, of William Street, died Mondaymorning at Schuyler Ridge, after a long illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 1 PM at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, 121 North Main Street, Mechanicville, NY 12118 with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the mass from 12 – 1PM.

Walter E. Isles, Jr. – 87

STILLWATER – Walter E. Isles, Jr., 87, of Fitch Rd., died Friday, March 11th at home, after a long illness.  Born in Mechanicville, July 18, 1928, son of the late Walter and Rose Smith Isles, Sr.  A patriotic American, Walt served in the US Army in WWII, during the occupation of Germany and later in Korea during that War.

A Funeral Service with Rev. Brenda Tompkins, Pastor of United Methodist Church officiating will be held on Thursday at 7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville.   Calling hours at the Funeral Home Thursday from 4-7 PM.

An inurnment with military honors is set for 11 AM Friday at Saratoga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Mechanicville United Methodist Church or the Saratoga County Animal Shelter.
