MECHANICVILLE, NY - Lori Jean Siciliano, 60, died Friday, March 11, at AlbanyMedical Center, in the loving company of her family after courageously battling a brief illness.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 -7pm at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 North Main St., Mechanicville, NY followed by a Funeral Mass at 7:30 pm.  Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00am at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Albany, NY.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Catie Hoch Foundation, 26 Arrowhead Rd., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, in memory of Lori Siciliano.

Charles L. Keegan, Jr. – 80

MECHANICVILLE – Charles L. Keegan, Jr., 80, of Harris Ave., died Wednesday, March 9th, at Albany Medical Center, after an extended illness.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 4 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville.  Calling hours at Funeral Home on Saturday from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 2 Pine West Plaza, Albany, 12205, in memory of Charles L. Honor Society’s Induction Ceremony at MHS – by Sandy McBride

Twenty-four Mechanicville High School juniors and seniors were inducted into the National Honor Society in a ceremony at the Paul N. Luther Auditorium last Wednesday evening, joining the twenty-six seniors who had achieved that honor last year.  Also inducted into their school honor societies for having maintained a scholastic average of 85 or higher were 23 sophomores named to Omega Honor Society; 28 juniors in Alpha Honor Society and 39 seniors who achieved membership in Aristoi Honor Society.

Vote on City Mayor’s Secretary

MECHANICVILLE MARCH 2- The City Council considered changes to the position of Secretary to the Mayor. Under the change to the City Charter the position or positions would be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. Dennis Baker said at the meeting that the other departments have control of their own deputies.

MECHANICVILLE – Matthew P. Mitchell, 52, of Mabbett St., died Monday Feb. 29th after a brief illness.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at Noon at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 North Main St., Mechanicville.  Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
