MECHANICVILLE – Joseph A. DeMarco, 84, of Washington Ave, Pruyn Hill, died Monday, July 10, at Samaritan Hospital after a short illness.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 13th from 4 -7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville,NY 12118. A Funeral Home service conducted by his friend, Rev. Clyde McCaskill, will be held on Friday the 14th at 10AM with military honors and burial to follow at the Saratoga NationalCemetery.  Those wishing to remember Joe in a special way may donate to the Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard Association,200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871 in his memory.

Norman “Gene” Cantrell

 

WATERFORD - Norman “Gene” Cantrell, 66,  passed away Thursday, July 6th, at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, surrounded by his loving family and close friends.

There will be a celebration of life gathering on Saturday, July 22nd at the Cantrell-Burke residence, So. Hudson Ave., Hemstreet Park, to which all family and friends are welcome.

Remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Norman “Gene” Cantrell.

Dorothy A. Edwards – 98

JOHNSONVILLE - Dorothy A. Edwards died on July 3, 2017 at home with her daughter by her side. She was 98 years old. Born in Valley Falls on the family farm on January 29, 1919 to the late Charles H. and Ellen (Aspinell) Edwards.

 

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date, to celebrate Dorothy’s life. Carol would like to thank the Community Hospice, especially the nurses and staff who lovingly cared for her Mother. Anthony M. Luciano – 92

MECHANICVILLE – Anthony M. Luciano, 92, of Warsaw Avenue, died Wednesday, July 4th, at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, after a brief illness.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM at All Saints on theHudson Church, 121 North Main St., Mechanicville, with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.  Calling hours at will also be held AT THE CHURCH on Fridayfrom 4-7 PM.
