Miss Rosella Amann – 86

Miss Rosella Amann, lifelong resident of Mechanicville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 14, 2020 in the home where she was born on June 14, 1933. She was 86.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and out of an abundance of caution for those who mourn her loss, a private interment will be conducted in St. Paul’s Cemetery where she will rest in her family plot. When it is safe, a Mass will be conducted to honor Rosella and allow for a full public acknowledgement of an amazing life lived.

Joseph “Red” Francis Paulo

Joseph “Red” Francis Paulo of River Road passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020 at home with his loving family at his side. He was 94.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date to celebrate the life of Red. His family is grateful to those who remember him and keep them in their prayers until a formal service is arranged.

Ronald “Ron” Czajkowski, 74, passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2020 after a short illness.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday (January 18th) at 12 PM at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, (St. Paul’s) 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville.  Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.  Calling hours at the church 9-12.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Ron’s name to the Mechanicville Community Center or the Hillcrest Fire Department, in loving memory of Ronald Czajkowski.

STILLWATER - Herbert E. Broestler II of Stillwater, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at home with his family by his side. He was 84.

Services for Herb will be at 11:00am on Monday, June 1, 2020 at the Saratoga National Cemetery with Military Honors.

MECHANICVILLE - Mary Ellen Cefferillo of No. Second Ave., passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a brief illness.

Interment services will be private and at the convenience of his family in the family plot in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Troy.
