John V. LaBar – 59

BALLSTON SPA – John V. LaBar, 59, formerly of Mechanicville, died Wednesday morning, November 9th, at his home, with his loving wife and daughter at his side.  Born in Troy, NY, May 4, 1957, he was the son of the late Harvey and Rose Pucci LaBar and brother of the late Roseann Paulsen.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 19th at NOON at All Saints on theHudson Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville, NY 12118.  Calling hours prior to the mass from 10AM – 12PM are also at the church.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember John in a special way are asked to make memorial contributions in John’s memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.

Peter F. Noonan – 55

MECHANICVILLE – Peter F. Noonan, 55, of South Third Ave, died Monday morning Nov. 14th atAlbany Medical Center, with his loving family at his side, after a 5 year battle with melanoma.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 6:30 PM at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, 141 North Main St., Mechanicville.

Calling hours at the North Main Street Church on Friday from 4:30 PM till Mass time.

Mary Raphaella Patterson – 93

 

Mary Raphaella Patterson, 93, of Mechanicville passed away Sunday, November 13th at Saratoga Hospital after a brief illness.  She was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Luisa Verdicchio Izzo.

A viewing will be held Thursday evening, November 17 from 4 to 7 pm at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121  North Main St. Mechanicville.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 18 at 10:30 AM in the church.  Interment will be at the Saratoga National Cemetery immediately following the mass.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to All Saints on the Hudson, the American Cancer Society, or the Father Joe Scerbo Fund c/o All Saints on the Hudson.
