Stillwater Students Complete Rotary’s RYLA Program
ARATOGA SPRINGS MARCH 7- Leadership development is the goal of the Rotary Club's RYLA Program. Communication, problem solving, and community citizenship are some of the topics covered in the Rotary Club's RYLA Program. Summer Sheehan and Jason Schultz of Stillwater; and Michael Horan of Waterford were honored for completing this year's RYLA Program.

School Board Budgets – by V. Albert
STILLWATER MARCH 3 - The second of three budget workshops for the Stillwater Central School district was presented to the Board of Education on Tuesday evening . The draft budget was presented by Superintendent Stanley Maziejka.

Stillwater Village Mayoral Candidates
Mayor Martin:
I am most proud of the following accomplishments during my tenure as Mayor: Settled General Electric Law Suit for the Village of Stillwater, a long hard fight. Paid off all of the debt associated with the water project closing the USDA-RD Loan. Issued rebate money to the taxpayers of the Village in the sum of $187,335. Finally the village has obtained an A+ rating by the NYS Comptroller Office on its financial stability represented by its Annual Update Document review. This continues to demonstrate that the Village is in great financial shape.
Rick Nelson:
Rick is a third generation and lifelong resident of Stillwater. He is the son of Barney Nelson and Lenetta Aldrich, the grandson of Percy and Aileen Aldrich, and a 1973 graduate of Stillwater High School. For the better part of four decades, Rick has been the owner and operator of \'93The Works\'94, a local general contracting, landscaping, and snow-removal business.

Mechanicville Bridge Updates
At the council meeting Seber announced that this bridge project will begin in the Spring of 2016. That job will go out for bids in October/November. There is a county bridge project on Rt. 67 near DiSiena furniture. Three bridge projects in one summer seems to be enough.
Malta Hears Proposal for Tech Campus – by H. Wessell
MALTA, March 2 -- A Public Hearing before the Malta Town Board on March 2 proposed Planned Development District (PDD) amendments for Luther Forest Technology Campus enabling it to obtain local and Saratoga County property tax incentives, as well as any available state tax incentive programs, if the financially troubled park is to attract other high-tech industries.

Clifton Park/Halfmoon EMS Host Drive for Local Teen
CLIFTON PARkK---Clifton Park & Halfmoon Emergency Corps. (CPHM EMS), in partnership with Be The Match, will host “Clifton Park & Halfmoon Saves Lives”, a donor screening and registry with the hopes of finding a bone marrow match for Reese Johnson, a 14-year-old Ballston Spa resident who is battling Leukemia. The event will take place on Sunday, March 15th from 1:00pm-4:00pm at CPHM EMS, 15 Crossing Blvd. Clifton Park, NY 12065.

The Study Area is generally located in the south east section of the Town of Malta and includes Route 9 south of the Form-Based Code zoned downtown, Route 67 from Route 9 east to the Malta/Stillwater boundary and the hamlet of Maltaville. This workshop will be held at the Malta Town Hall, 2540 Route.
