Post 91 Remembers Four Chaplains
Mechanicville February 6- On January 23, 1943 the USAT Dorchester left New York Harbor with 902 crew, soldiers, and civilians on board. On February 2 sonar on one of the escort cutters detected a German submarine in the area. the ship was only 150 miles from Greenland .

Four Chaplains Remembered
MECHANICVILLE FEBRUARY 7- The heroism of the " Four Chaplains " was remembered Saturday morning at Post 91. Congressman Paul Tonko, a representative from Congressman Gibson's office and State Senator Marchione all spoke at this ceremony.

Pearl Harbor Remembered at Local Legion Halls
MECHANICVILLE DECEMBER 7- Post Chaplain Bill Wicks read the name of the 53 Mechanicville servicemen who lost their lives in WWII at the Pearl Harbor Remembrance at Lt. Fred Clark American Legion Post #91.Robin Ringlet=r read the poem , "Do you remember me?" written from the perspective of one of the 2,335 who died on December 7th at Pearl Harbor. She led everyone in singing "Remember Pearl Harbor"- written shortly after the event.
