WATERFORD- Friday September 5^th was the kickoff of the fifteenth annual Waterford Tugboat Round-Up. Twenty plus tugs of every shape and size made their way up the Mohawk River. The visitors cheered on the tugs, owners and passengers before they docked along the Erie Canal near the Waterford Visitors Center.

   Friday evening started the three-day festivities filled with vendors set up along the Erie Canal. There was something for everyone; fun & games for the kids, pony rides, petty zoo, plenty of food choices provided by many local non for profit organizations, music and vendors selling things from handmade crafts to pocketbooks. An added bonus this year up on Lock 2 was a boat show sponsored by The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County, exhibitors where Anderson Boats, Smith Boys & Mohawk Valley Marine.
