MECHANICVILLE – D. Carlton Phelps, 79, of Hemstreet Park, died early Wednesday morning, Nov. 22nd, at home, following an extended illness.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at Noon at the DeVito-Salvadore funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville.  Burial in Hudson View Cemetery.

MECHANICVILLE – Charles V. Adams, 43, of River Road, Hemstreet Park, died Sunday, Nov. 19th.  Born in Mechanicville, Oct 31, 1974, son of John and Ellen Adams, graduated from Mechanicville High School in 1993.

VALLEY FALLS - John Kenneth Sheldon, Jr., 73, of Valley Falls, NY died surrounded by his loving family after an arduous battle with cancer.

Relatives and friends may call from 11am-1pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Hoosic Valley Community Church, Schaghticoke. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm in the church. Burial with military honors will follow in the family plot in Memory Gardens, Colonie.

James E. Heslin - 68

MECHANICVILLE –James E. Heslin, 68, of Hemstreet Park, died suddenly at his home, Wed, Nov 15th, after being stricken.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 4 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville.  Calling hours will precede from 2-4 PM.

Burial services with military honors will be held on Monday at 10 AM at Saratoga National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the National Cemetery at 9:45 AM.

STILLWATER – Mrs. Betty E. Hanehan, 86 of Hudson Ave., died Wed evening, Nov. 15th, at home, after an extended illness.

She was also predeceased by her brothers Richard and Robert Brown.

Joseph P. “Cappy” Capozzelli

SCHAGHTICOKE - Joseph P. "Cappy" Capozzelli of School Street passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Samaritan Hospital. He was 79.

Relatives and friends may call from 1:00-4:00pm on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke. Funeral service will follow at 4:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery at the convenience of his family.
