Fireball Run to Visit Saratoga County

MECHANICVILLE JANUARY 19- Pete Bardunias, President of the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County, announced that Saratoga County will be part of the Fireball Run this fall. Fifty teams will be competing on rod rally which will start in western New York . continuing to Saratoga County, Dutchess Coutny, Massachusetts , and ending in Maryland.

Thelma A. Hmura – 76

MECHANICVILLE – Thelma A. Hmura, 76, of Round Lake Ave., rose with the angels, from her home, on January 23rd,while in the company of her loving family.  Born in Rantoul,IL, April 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Brown.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in Saratoga National Cemetery. Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville on Wednesday from 4-7 PM.

Richard “Dick” Ryan – 91

 

STILLWATER – Richard “Dick” Ryan, 91, of County Route 76, died at his home, Thursday January 21st, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Bennington, VT December 31, 1924, he was the son of the late William and Helen Blanchard Ryan and brother of the late Elinor Warzecha.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7PM on Monday evening, January 25, at All Saints on the Hudson North Church, 885 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater, NY 12170.  Calling hours prior to the mass on Monday from 4 - 6:45PM will also be at the church.  Inurnment service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at the Saratoga National Cemetery at 10AM.  Friends wishing to attend are asked to be at the cemetery’s visitor center at 9:45AM.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Richard T.
