Marcy C. Taglione – 96

SARATOGA SPRINGS - Mary C. Taglione, 96, former longtime resident of Mechanicville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4th at Wesley Health Care Center, with her daughter at her side after a brief and unexpected illness.

Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville on Sunday from 2-5PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 N Main St, Mechanicville.  Private burial will be held at the Saratoga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110 in loving member of Mary C. Taglione.

Michele Denise Russo – 65

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Michele Denise Russo, 65, of Jefferson St, passed away in the comfort of her home on September 7, with her loving and faithful family at her side

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 12th from 4-8PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be in The Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY12866 at 10AM on Thursday, September 13th with interment to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 or the Saratoga Hospital Foundation, 211 Church St, Saratoga Springs, NY in loving memory of Michele D. Russo.

John (Jack) “Jasper” F. Nolan – 83

SARATOGA SPRING - John (Jack) “Jasper” F. Nolan passed away Sunday, (April 1, 2018) from complications of dementia. He was 83.

Relatives and friend may call from 4 to 7pm Friday (April 6, 2018) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Saturday (April 7) in the historic Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, by the Rev. Thomas H. Chevalier, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter’s Cemetery, West Ave.

Memorials may be made in Jasper’s name to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 or a Community Organization of your choice.

SARATOGA SPRINGS - Janice “Jan” Ann McLaughlin passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, NY

Her sons will greet family on Sunday, November 26th, 2017 from 1pm to 3pm at the Italian American Club on 247 Grand Street in Saratoga Springs, NY to share memories.  Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Jan to Saratoga Hospital Foundation, 211 Church Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Anne Nisler – 93

Saratoga Springs, NY - Anne Nisler passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. She was 93.

Born on March 3, 1920 in Mechanicville, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Ambersine) Clements. Anne was a lifelong resident and worked at Skidmore College for many years. She was involved in several organizations which included the Catholic Daughters of America, Principessa Elena Women's Society serving as a past vice president at one time, ITAM Post #35 Ladies Auxiliary serving as past national president, past state president and past auxiliary president.

In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by her first husband Carl Martino and second husband Nicholas Nisler; sisters Lena Barber, Carmella Villa and brother Peter Clements, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters, Rosemary (Sean) O'Connor of Bayside, NY and Carol (Thomas) Berrigan of Schuylerville; grandchildren, Sean (Claudia) O'Connor, Jr. of New Hyde Park, NY, Colleen (John) Costa of Flushing, NY, Brian (Jillian) O'Connor of Roslyn, NY, Thomas (Jennifer) Berrigan IV of Schuylerville and Audra (Jamie) Miller of Wilton; great-grandchildren Matthew, Caitlin, Christopher, Patrick and Timothy O'Connor, Jonathan, Michael, Jesse and Gabriella Costa, Matthew and Taylor Berrigan; Sera and Sophia Miller; her sisters, Philomena DiBello and Catherine Lynch both of Mechanicville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
