Mayor Martin:
I am most proud of the following accomplishments during my tenure as Mayor: Settled General Electric Law Suit for the Village of Stillwater, a long hard fight. Paid off all of the debt associated with the water project closing the USDA-RD Loan. Issued rebate money to the taxpayers of the Village in the sum of $187,335. Finally the village has obtained an A+ rating by the NYS Comptroller Office on its financial stability represented by its Annual Update Document review. This continues to demonstrate that the Village is in great financial shape.
Rick Nelson:
Rick is a third generation and lifelong resident of Stillwater. He is the son of Barney Nelson and Lenetta Aldrich, the grandson of Percy and Aileen Aldrich, and a 1973 graduate of Stillwater High School. For the better part of four decades, Rick has been the owner and operator of \'93The Works\'94, a local general contracting, landscaping, and snow-removal business.
