HALFMOON – Mrs. Marie A. Zappone, 91, of Route 236, died Monday, Jan 14th at Saratoga Hospital, after a brief illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at St. Edward the Confessor Church, Clifton Park Center Rd, with burial to follow at the Saratoga National Cemetery.

Calling hours at ST Edward The Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd, Clifton Park, NY on Thursday from 4-7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in loving memory of Marie A. Zappone.

STILLWATER – Bernadette A. Whiting, 71, of County Route 75, died Sunday, January 6th at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Calling hours will be held at All Saints on the Hudson (St. Paul’s) Church, 121 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 on Wednesday from 4 – 7 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at the Church, with burial to follow at Saratoga National Cemetery.

MECHANICVILLE – Robert “DD” Linehan, 93, died Monday, Dec. 31st, at home, after a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of Mechanicville, born Oct. 18, 1925, son of the late Denis and Irene Russom Linehan, he was a 1943 graduate of Mechanicville High School.
