Malta Town Board quick update, March 2 meeting:

A Public Hearing was held concerning Planned Development District (PDD) amendments being sought for  Luther Forest Technology Campus, enabling it to obtain local Saratoga County property  tax incentives, as well as any available state tax accommodations, if the financially troubled park is to attract other high-tech industries. It is said to be in the only site in the state  not allowed to seek them; this, according to  operator Luther Forest Technology Campus Economic Development Corporation (LFTCEDC). The hearing was adjourned (not closed) and statements will be received until March 16. No further action was taken. A board workshop to work on the amendments was set for April 20 at 6:30 PM.

The Town Board will hold a workshop on March 26, 6:30PM on proposed  Rtes. 9/67 rezoning.

A Public Hearing was set for April 6, 6:55PM, concerning the Saratoga Medical Park, on whether, per a stipulation in the PDD. Malta Ambulance Corps would need for some mitigation for all the calls that they will be getting because of the large building. The corps came back to the Town Board saying there was no problem; but the hearing was set for April 6, 6:55PM to accept the amendments.
