BALLSTON SPA, October 18 – Saratoga County remembered and saluted the first woman honoree in its monthly ceremonies recognizing one of its deceased veterans: First Lieutenant Doris Noonan, a Mechanicville native and resident of the Town of Stillwater.

Mrs. Oryanna M. LaVigne – 67
MECHANICVILLE – Mrs. Oryanna M. LaVigne, 67, former longtime resident of Hemstreet Park, died Monday, Oct. 10th in Summerfield, FL after an extended illness.
Calling hours at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville will be on Thursday from 5-7 PM, with a service held at 7 PM.
Burial in Saratoga National Cemetery on Friday at 9:30 AM. Those wishing to attend are asked to be at the visitor’s center at 9:15AM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the ALS Clinic at St. Peter’s Hospital,
315 S Manning Blvd, Albany 12208 in memory of Oryanna LaVigne.

MECHANICVILLE - Mrs. Gloria J. Cervine Steves, 61, of Mechanicville died peacefully in the presence of her family Friday, October 21, 2016 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after a courageous battle with cancer.
Calling hours will be held at the All Saints on the Hudson Church, 141 No. Main St, Mechanicville Church at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 with a Funeral Mass to follow commencing at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to NYOH Communmity Cancer Foundation, 449 Route 146,Suite 101, Clifton Park, NY 12065 in loving memory of Gloria Steves.

STILLWATER – Mrs. Phyllis Ann Lescault, 70, of Brightman Rd, died Friday evening at Albany Medical Ctr, in the loving company of family, after an extended illness.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at NOON Tuesday at All Saints on the Hudson Church,895 Hudson Ave, Stillwater with burial to follow at Saratoga National Cemetery.
A gathering of friends will be held at Stillwater’s Hudson Ave Church prior to the Mass from10:30 – NOON.
