SCHGHTICOKE -  On Wednesday, August 21st the Schaghticoke Fair and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York will be collecting non-perishable food items at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds from 1:00pm until 7:00pm. The food drive will kick off the 2013 Schaghticoke Fair with the theme of Who's Your Souper Hero? Using the food drive to tie into the fair, for every two cans donated, the Schaghticoke Fair will issue a $1.00 voucher to be redeemed on Friday, August 30th only towards admission to the fair. The Schaghticoke Fair and Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York will be partnering with Price Chopper to collect the cans and other non-perishable food items.
