MECHANICVILLE –  Anthony “Tony” D. Petta, 87, formerly of County Route 75, died July 29, 2017 while residing in Las Vegas, following a short illness

A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017at 12 noon at All Saints On The Hudson Church South, 121 North Main St.  All family and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN38105 in loving memory of Anthony D. Petta.

Harold “Rusty” Carknard

MECHANICVILLE – Harold “Rusty” Carknard, 82, of Mid-Rise Apartments, N Main St, passed away peacefully at his residence in the company of his family on Saturday, July 29th, after a brief illness.

MECHANICVILLE - Diana J. Orologio, 78, of Ushers Rd., passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday July, 27th after a brief illness.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118. A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, August 1st at the funeral home with burial to follow in Stillwater Union Cemetery.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Mechanicville Housing Authority of Mechanicville, New York, invites sealed bids for the following contract:

Boiler Replacement at John S. Moore Apartments

They will be received by the Executive Director on August 29th at 9:00 AM, at which time bids shall be publicly opened and read at the Office of the Executive Director located at 2 Harris Avenue, Suite 1, Mechanicville, New York 12118.

The apartments are located in Mechanicville, New York and work shall be in accordance of specifications and other contracts prepared by RIDA Architecture PLLC, 2022 Western Avenue, Albany, New York. Tel: (518) 713-4537.

There will be a pre-bid walk through on August 21st, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. Contractors to meet at the Main Office.

Contract documents may be obtained at the Office of the Executive Director at the Mechanicville Housing Authority, 2 Harris Avenue, Suite 1, Mechanicville, New York 12118. Tel: (518) 664-9897, upon payment of a $50.00 refundable deposit. Deposit refundable upon the return of the contract documents to the Mechanicville Housing Authority, no later than 14 days following the bid opening.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or technicality and reject any and all bids.

Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount and forms subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
