SCHAGHTICOKE -Timothy J. Keyes of Stillwater Bridge Road passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014. He was 64.

Relatives and friends may call from 11:30am-12:30pm on Tuesday, September 30 at the Transfiguration Parish, 17 South Main Street, Schaghticoke. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 12:30pm. Burial will be in the family plot in St. John's Cemetery, Schaghticoke.

Jennifer Lachell of Waterford, NY, Earns Nazareth College's Athlete of the Week Honor

ROCHESTER, NY (09/25/2014)(readMedia)-- Jennifer Lachell of Waterford, NY, earns Nazareth College's athlete of the week honor for the week ending September 22, 2014. Lachell, member of the women's golf team, finished fourth individually at the William Smith Invitational over the weekend as she posted rounds of 84 and 92 for a 176 total. Her 84 on Sunday was the second-lowest round in the field of 37 golfers.

Lachell is a senior marketing major at Nazareth and is competing in her fourth season as a Golden Flyer. Her honors include second-team all-conference honors in the Empire 8 Conference all four years as well as individual medalist at the Nazareth College Spring Invitational in 2014.

Min Pin mix puppies - How cute are these little guys? They were an owner turn in to a very high kill shelter. They have all been vet checked, wormed and given shots. They have wonderful little personalities.

Joyce E. Fear – 61

Wilton, NY - Joyce E. Fear, 61, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, peacefully in her home after a 6 ½ year courageous battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer.  She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, optimism and everlasting spirit in the hearts of all those who were blessed to have known and loved her.
