Horace Greeley (of "Go West, young man" fame) had just begun  publishing the New York Tribune.

The Patio at Prospector’s – by C. Barton

Schaghticoke- Prospectors Restaurant owned and operated by Deanna and Brian Rohloff opened the doors of their establishment at 1544 State Route 40 in Schaghticoke in November of 2015.  The couple currently resides in the area and has lifelong ties to the community. They hope that Prospectors adds to the options that people have in the community.  In addition to Prospectors, the couple also owns Roli’s Auto, also in Schaghticoke, multiple rental properties in Mechanicville and a Nationwide Steel Business. All local vendors and contractors did the work to get the restaurant up and running. “We have awesome, very friendly staff,” says Deanna Rohloff.  Most of the staff employed by Prospectors are from the local community. “We want to support local businesses,” says Deanna.
