Josephine DeMarco Russom – 99

MECHANICVILLE – Josephine DeMarco Russom, 99, died peacefully Tuesday at Maplewood Manor, just 7 months shy of her 100th Birthday. Born in Mechanicville, August 30, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucia DiNata DeMarco.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 3PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 South Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 with burial to follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery. Kathleen E. DeVito – 71

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Kathleen E. DeVito, 71, of Boynton Beach, Florida and Saratoga Springs, NY entered into heaven on January 6, 2015 peacefully and unexpectedly with her husband and brother by her side.

Hazel Dodd Flatley – 90

STILLWATER – Hazel Dodd Flatley, 90, of Hudson Ave., died Thursday evening, Jan. 8th at Van Rensselaer Manor, after an extended illness. Born in Quaker Springs, Feb. 24, 1924, daughter of the late Percival and Harriet Griffen Dodd, and wife for 48 years to the late William Flatley, who died in 2009.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 7 PM at Stillwater United Church, Hudson Ave.,Stillwater.  Burial to be scheduled in the spring. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 PM at the Stillwater United Church.   In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Community Hospice, Alzheimer’s Assoc. or a charity of one’s choice. STILLWATER – Mrs. Ida Nutting Elting, 83, of Meehan Road, died Friday, January 2nd, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Troy after a brief illness.

Carol Olsen Lavazzo – 68

MECHANICVILLE – Carol Olsen Lavazzo, 68, of Broadway, died suddenly at home, Saturday morning, Dec. 27th, after being stricken.  Carol had battled breast cancer and  respiratory issues for some time.

STILLWATER – Percilla Jayne (Aldrich) Bryan, lifelong resident of Stillwater, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy. She was 81.
