Mary C. “Babe” Forino – 80

Mechanicville – Mary C. “Babe” Forino of 8th Avenue passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Samaritan Hospital with her loving family at her side. She was 80.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-7pm on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. Funeral Mass will be conducted on Tuesday at 11am at All Saints on the Hudson, South Church, 121 North Main Street, Mechanicville. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Mechanicville.

Memorials may be made to the Mechanicville Stillwater Breast Cancer Walk, C/O Joyce DiVirgilio, 270 South Main Street, Mechanicville, NY 12118.

Phyllis Caswell – 90

Schuylerville – Phyllis Caswell passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs. She was 90.

Mrs. Pearl R. Isles – 84

STILLWATER – Mrs. Pearl R. Isles, 84, of Fitch Road, died Friday, Oct. 31st, at St. Peter’s Hospital, after a brief illness.

Born in Stillwater, Dec. 6, 1929, daughter of the late Leighton and Mae Crandall Fitch, Pearl had owned and operated I.P.S. Services, a marketing agency that serviced General Electric’s Silicone Prod. Div. in Waterford for a number of years, retiring in 1991.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Calling hours at the Funeral Home prior to the Funeral Service from 4-7 PM.

Inurnment 11 AM Thursday at the Saratoga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to either the Mechanicville United Methodist Church Building Fund or Saratoga County Animal Shelter.

Christopher J. DeBernardo – 61

HALFMOON – Christopher J. DeBernardo, 61, of Dunsbach Rd., died Thursday morning, October 23rd, following an 18 month courageous battle with brain cancer. Chris and his devoted wife Marilyn pursued all known medical procedures.

Calling hours will be at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-7 PM, 39 So. Main Street, Mechanicville, followed by a funeral service at 7 PM at the funeral home.
A Burial Service will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the Chapel at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd.,Albany (Colonie).  Please arrive at Cemetary by 10:45 AM.

Yolanda M. Palmer – 76

MECHANICVILLE – Yolanda M. Palmer, 76, of County Route 75, died early Saturday morning, October 11, 2014 at Samaritan Hospital as a result of pancreatic cancer.  Born May 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Madalena Palmer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11AM at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, 121 N Main St., Mechanicville, NY 12118 with burial to follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.  A Calling Hour will be held prior to the mass from 10-11AM at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’sResearch Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 in loving memory of Yolanda M. Palmer.
