HALFMOON – John V. “Peepers” Fascia, 87, died Monday morning, Nov 6th at Schuyler Ridge, after an extended illness.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:30 AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville.  Burial with military honors at Saratoga National Cemetery to follow.

James “Riley” DeVoe – 84

STILLWATER - James “Riley” DeVoe, 84, of Hudson Avenue died Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at Ellis Hospital, after a short illness. A native of Schuylerville and lifelong resident of Stillwater, he was born May 31st, 1933, son of the late Riley and Asenath DeVoe.

There will be no calling hours at the request of the family.  Private family services will be held with the Devito-Salvadore Funeral Home.

Edward Beers

MECHANICVILLE - After a short illness, Edward Beers died at home, as he lived, with dignity and honor on November 4, 2017 with his loving and devoted family by his side  and a few hours after the Yale Bulldogs football team clinched first place in the Ivy League.

Those who wish to remember Ed in a special way may make a contribution to the American Red Cross.

According to Ed’s wishes, services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial reception celebrating Ed’s remarkable life at The Country Club of Troy on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM.

MECHANICVILLE – Salvadore Cervine, 95, died peacefully on Sunday, Oct 29th, at Schuyler Ridgein Clifton Park, after an extended illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9 AM at All Saints on the Hudson SouthChurch, 121 N Main Street, Mechanicville, NY 12118 with military honors and burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
