Lakeland – Charles E. Shea passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017. He was born on July 1, 1941 in Saratoga Springs, New York to Frances Shea and Beatrice (Benson) Shea.
He served in the United States Army for 4 years.

MECHANICVILLE – Rita M. (Wierzbowicz) Wiers, 82, of West St., Frog Island, died peacefully in her sleep on Christmas Eve night, in the comfort of her home. Born at the family home on FrogIsland, December 29, 1934, she was the daughter of Bronislaw and Alexandria Wierzbowicz.

MECHANICVILLE – Dr. Stephen S. Sgambati, Sr., MD, 97, of Park Avenue, a lifelong resident, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife and children at his side on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial with military honors in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
Calling hours at All Saints Church on Friday from 3-7 PM.

MECHANICVILLE - Patricia A. Russom of South Second Avenue passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. She was 89.
