Catherine June (Patterson) Vano 94

STILLWATER - Catherine June (Patterson) Vano, 94, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2017 at the Wesley Nursing Community after a brief illness.  Born in Mechanicville on September 28, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Nora and James Patterson.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial and a celebration of a life well-lived by a vibrant woman will be held at NOON on Wednesday, May 31st at All Saints on theHudson North Church, 895 Hudson Ave., Stillwater, NY. Family and friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30th at DeVito Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 South Main Street, Mechanicville.

Nicholas R. Iavarone, Jr. 59

MECHANICVILLE – Nicholas R. Iavarone, Jr., 59, died Thursday, May 18that Albany Medical Center, after succumbing to injuries, doing what he loved most, working on one of his many properties in his hometown.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 North Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Calling hours at All Saints on the Hudson Church on Tuesday from 4 – 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a scholarship fund to be set up at Mechanicville High School, to a deserving graduate in the field of building trades. Those memorials may be sent to the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville, 12118.
