Senior Center New Bus Dedication February 4th

HALFMOON - Halfmoon Town Supervisor, Kevin J. Tollisen, announced today that the Town of Halfmoon will be dedicating its new Senior Bus on Wednesday, February 4th, at the Halfmoon Senior Center at 11:45am. The dedication of the new bus is the culmination of the Saratoga County Office for the Aging providing a grant of twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000) for the purchase of the new bus in fiscal year 2014. The bus has been in the process of being custom built over the past several months specifically for the Town of Halfmoon.

Supervisor Tollisen advised that the new fourteen passenger Bus will be dedicated in honor of and in loving memory of Allan Dick Lee (Dick Lee), "a lifelong resident and true community leader who worked tirelessly to make Halfmoon a better place for its residents". Supervisor Tollisen called Lee a "pillar of the community" and will always be "remembered and honored for all that he gave to Halfmoon".
