Mary Jane Mignacci – 96

MECHANICVILLE – Mary Jane Mignacci, 96, of Saratoga Ave, joined her family in heaven on January 19th 2020. Born in Mechanicville, she was the daughter of Anthony and Elena Lupo.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday from 12 - 2PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home,  39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118.  Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in loving memory of Mary Jane Mignacci.

Miss Ruth V. Shiebler - 92

MALTA - Miss Ruth V. Shiebler, 92, former Mechanicville High School (MHS) acclaimed music director, died Sunday, Jan 19th, at Gateway House of Peace in the loving company of family from effects of years' struggle with Parkinson's Disease.

A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, Jan 25th from noon – 1 P.M. at Christ Episcopal Church's Welcome Center, 15 W. High Street, Ballston Spa, with a memorial service at 1 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to either Ruth Shiebler Music Scholarship Fund of Mechanicville High School, attn: Jim DeVito treasurer, 25 Kniskern Ave, Mechanicville, 12118, Community Hospice or Gateway House of Peace, in loving and fond memory of Ruth V. Shiebler.

MECHANICVILLE - Julia Serbalik Amodeo, 99, of Hudson River Rd, died peacefully on January 18, 2020 at Schuyler Ridge RHC

Julia's family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the Schuyler Ridge RHC Fenimore Unit staff for the great care given during her stay.

Calling hours at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 121 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 on Wednesday from 3-7PM.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Thursday at Christ the Savior Orthodox Church, 349 East Line Rd, Ballston Lake, NY 12019 with burial to follow at Saratoga National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to either Christ the Savior Church or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), 950 New Loudon Road, Suite 330, Latham, New York 12110.

Ronald “Ron” Czajkowski, 74, passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2020 after a short illness.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday (January 18th) at 12 PM at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, (St. Paul’s) 121 No. Main St., Mechanicville.  Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery.  Calling hours at the church 9-12.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Ron’s name to the Mechanicville Community Center or the Hillcrest Fire Department, in loving memory of Ronald Czajkowski.

Peter Anthony Marks – 79

TROY - Peter Anthony Marks, 79, of Troy, NY passed away on January 11, 2020 in Ballston Spa, NY after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

The family will greet friends from 4:00-7:00 pm on January 21, 2020 at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville 12118.  Military honors and inurnment at the Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY will be held on Wednesday, January 22 at 2:00PM.  Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery's visitor center at 1:45PM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peter’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4 Pine West Plaza #405, Albany, NY 12205.

Mary Linda Haney – 80 

MECHANICVILLE. Mary Linda Haney (Linda), 80, residing at the Home of the Good Shepherd Assisted Living Facility in Malta, NY, and formally of Park Avenue, Mechanicville, died January 11, 2020.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.  There will be no calling hours. Linda will be buried with her husband Jack at the Gerald B. H. Solomon National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.

Hebert E. Broestler II – 84

STILLWATER - Herbert E. Broestler II of Stillwater, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at home with his family by his side. He was 84.

Services for Herb will be at 11:00am on Monday, June 1, 2020 at the Saratoga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
