First Annual Burgher Bash
An Evening with Civil War Veteran Corporal James R. Tanner, 87th New York Infantry, as portrayed by Robert Mulligan, Jr. Thursday June 9, 2016
Veterans of Lansingbugh Hall
777 1st Avenue, Troy, New York 12182.
Robert Mulligan, Jr., Historian and retired New York State Museum Curator, will portray Civil War Veteran, Corporal James R. Tanner. Known for his engaging portrayals of men of history, Mr. Mulligan's presentations combine the finest aspects of theater and history.
Civil War Veteran Corporal Tanner lost his legs at the Second Battle of Bull Run. He served the rest of the war as a government stenographer, and was present at the death of Abraham Lincoln.
The evening begins at 5:00 PM with an open-bar and Basket Raffles, a plated dinner at 6:30 PM, and at 7:30 PM “Corporal Tanner”
