Leo J. Gargano Sr. – 53
MECHANICVILLE – Leo J. Gargano Sr, 53, of Mid-Rise Apts. and formerly of Grove St, died peacefully in his residence after a long illness and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Niskayuna on March 19, 1965, he was the son of the late Joseph and Yolande Neddo Gargano.
A Service will be held on Friday, June 1st at 6:00 pm at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville with burial to follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00 - 6:00 pm.

Fred D. Batchelder – 62
MECHANICVILLE – Fred D. Batchelder, 62, former longtime resident of Meehan Rd, died Thursday, May 17th at Diamond Hill Nursing Center, after an extended illness.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 7 PM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Calling hours prior to the service from 5-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Diamond Hill Patients Activity Fund, 100 New Turnpike Rd, Troy, 12182.

John D. (Jack) Murphy – 97
MECHANICVILLE - John D. (Jack) Murphy formerly of Mechanicville, NY and Lake Worth, FL, passed away May 8, 2018 in Colonie, NY at the age of 97. Born December 25, 1920, he was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Rita Murphy in 1988. He is survived by his wife, Jean Irwin.
Services were private and held at the convenience of Jack’s family.
