Mario L. Fratianni of School Street passed away at Samaritan Hospital on Sunday, March 10, 2019 with his beloved family at his side. He was 84.

Relatives and friends may call from 10:00am-12:00 noon on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke. Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy with military honors.

Philip A. DiSiena – 77

 

MECHANICVILLE- Philip A. DiSiena, 77, died peacefully on Saturday, March 9th at Ellis Hospital following a recent hospitalization.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 14th at All Saints on the Hudson Church (St. Paul's), 121 N Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118 from 4 - 7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at l0AM at the Church. In lieu of flowers, in keeping with his wishes and love for children, please consider a memorial donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Philip A. DiSiena.

Mark A. Rose – 64

STILLWATER - Mark A. Rose, 64, of Duell Rd, died Wednesday, March 6, in the comfort of his home after a long illness.  Born in Troy, November 13, 1954, he was the son of the late Robert “Red” and Ann Curran Rose.

 

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY12118.  A Funeral Home Service will be held following the calling hours at 5PM.  Burial at the Saratoga National Cemetery will be Monday at 10AM. Those wishing to attend are asked to arrive and wait at the visitors center at 9:45AM.

Dale J. Brown – 38

WATERVLIET – Dale J. Brown, 38, of Sixth Ave and longtime resident of Mechanicville, died suddenly at his home, Friday, Feb 22nd, after being stricken.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at All Saints on the Hudson Church (St. Paul’s) 121 North Main St., Mechanicville.  Spring burial in Schuylerville.

Calling hours at the North Main Street Church on Monday from 4-7 PM.

Anne Hannigan Fortune – 66

 

MECHANICVILLE – Anne Hannigan Fortune, 66, of Sheldon Dr. died peacefully at Ellis Hospital with her loving and faithful husband at her side.  Born in Suffern, NY on March 10, 1952, she was the daughter of the late John and Estelle Clark Hannigan.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday Feb 24th from 3 – 5 PM at All Saints on the Hudson Church(St. Paul’s), 121 N Main St, Mechanicville.  A Mass of Christian Burial at the church will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM with burial to follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Betty Ann O’Brien Young – 92

Betty Ann O’Brien Young, 92, passed away on February 10th, 2019 in Peoria, Arizona. A private family service will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, California. Betty was born in Utica, New York to Helen and Patrick O’Brien on February 26, 1926. She married John “Jack” Young, her childhood sweetheart on her birthday in 1947. She graduated from Alhambra High School and attended UCLA. Betty was a 60 year member of the First United Methodist Church of Whittier, a 50 year member of the East Whittier Women’s Improvement Club, an OD Chapter member of P.E.O. and a member of the Western Hills Country Club Women’s Association. Betty was also a member of the Thendara golf club and a member of the Niccolls Presbyterian Church family, where she played bridge for many years with dear friends.

Betty is survived by, her son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Debi Young, who reside in Peoria, Arizona. Betty is also survived by her Grandson and Granddaughter, Jeff and Lyndsey Young.  Those wishing to honor Betty’s memory may do so with a contribution to The Humane Society, in honor of Betty’s love for cats. The family of Betty wishes to extend their sincerest appreciation to her many friends for a lifetime of cherished memories.
