MECHANICVILLE – Carol Girard DeMarco, 78, of Pruyn Hill, died Saturday morning, Sept 14th, after a brief illness.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday morning at 9 AM at DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville, with burial to follow at Saratoga National Cemetery.  Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 – 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to either Alzheimer’s Assoc., or Community Hospice in respectful memory of Carol A. DeMarco.

MECHANICVILLE –  Richard J. Connors, 69, of S Main St, died Wednesday, September 11th as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home,39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118.  A Funeral Home service will be held on Tuesday at 10AM with burial to immediately follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Carmella M. Fusco

MECHANICVILLE – Carmella M. Fusco passed away peacefully on September 11, 2019 at her daughter’s residence in Saratoga Springs with her loving family and devoted caregivers by her side.  She was born in Mechanicville on June 10, 1922, to the late Teresa and Antonio Pignatelli.

   A graveside service will be held on Tuesday September 17, at 2:00 pm, followed by her internment with her husband at the Saratoga National Cemetery.  

   Contributions in Carmella’s memory can be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 Att. Wish Fund.

Stillwater, Saratoga County

Maryjo Ann Mehan Miles of County Route 70 passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at home with her loving husband and family at her side following a long illness. She was 66.

Relatives and friends may call from 2-5:00pm on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at All Saints on the Hudson Church (St. Peter’s), 895 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00am in the church with burial to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Stillwater.

CLIFTON PARK –  Diane M. Bertrand, 78, of D&R Village and longtime resident of Mechanicville, died Friday, September 6th at Saratoga Hospital after a short illness.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  There will be no calling hours.

MECHANICVILLE – Ellen Wixted Fondano, 75, of Chestnut St, died Wednesday, August 14th at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness.

A private interment service at the Saratoga National Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.  There will be no calling hours.

STILLWATER – Kathryn “Kay” Cassier, 96, of Stillwater, NY died at her home on Thursday, August 29, 2019.

Visitation will be held at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville NY 12118 on Saturday from 11AM – 12PM.  A service to celebrate Kay’s life will be held at 12PM with Pastor Adam Wiegand officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stillwater Union Cemetery.
