Joan Ann Philpott

MECHANICVILLE - Joan Ann Philpott of South Second Street passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peters Hospital. She was 76.

Relatives and friends may call from 9-11am on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. A memorial service will be conducted at 11am in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Hoosick Rural Cemetery. A celebration of Joan's life will be held following services at 3pm at the Mechanicville Elks Lodge #1403, 300 Park Avenue, Mechanicville.

MECHANICVILLE –  Anthony “Tony” D. Petta, 87, formerly of County Route 75, died July 29, 2017 while residing in Las Vegas, following a short illness

A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017at 12 noon at All Saints On The Hudson Church South, 121 North Main St.  All family and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN38105 in loving memory of Anthony D. Petta.

MECHANICVILLE – Harold “Rusty” Carknard, 82, of Mid-Rise Apartments, N Main St, passed away peacefully at his residence in the company of his family on Saturday, July 29th, after a brief illness.

MECHANICVILLE - Diana J. Orologio, 78, of Ushers Rd., passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday July, 27th after a brief illness.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118. A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, August 1st at the funeral home with burial to follow in Stillwater Union Cemetery.

Duane Ernest Russell

MECHANICVILLE - Duane Ernest Russell, most recently of Schenectady and formerly of Mechanicville, died after a long illness on July 23, 2017 at the age of 91.

Funeral services will be held at the DeVito - Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S Main St., Mechanicville, NY 12118 at2PM on Friday, July 28, 2017 with military honors and burial to follow at Hudson View Cemetery.  A gathering of family and friends at the funeral home will be prior to the service on Friday from 1- 2PM.

MECHANICVILLE – Laurie Dalaba Derby, 63, longtime resident of Brickyard Road, died Saturday, July 22nd at Pathway Nursing and Rehab of Niskayuna, after a ling illness.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 7 PM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St, Mechanicville.
